Hello and blessings.

Many of you have asked: "Why are we no longer going to Ft. Flagler?

For over 30 years, since the return of the Mysteries on Earth, they have been held at Ft. Flagler in Washington State. It was not a perfect place. It took years of work and dedication, working through Friends of Ft Flagler, as well as coming in on our own to pour floors, or do upgrades on the property, for it to become the long loved home of Spring Mysteries Festival.

The Environmental Learning Centers (the rental parts with the barracks, kitchens, and sleeping quarters) of Ft. Flagler are closed indefinitely due to disrepair through the Pandemic. They are trying to get a $2m grant to fix it. You can still go to the grounds, but there is no longer a way to host an event there.

Nothing will replace the memories we grew on those sacred grounds. And nothing should ever try to. The Mysteries were performed for 3000 unbroken years, and in that time they moved, upgraded, downgraded, were lost, found, public, closed, and everything in between. The fashion and customs changed, but the seed thought remained the same. So too will the Mysteries evolve into the future.

We had a marvelous time at the hotel. The outdoor courtyard has decades old botanical gardens (some of our Pagan horticulturalists tracked down the hotel staff to vigorously endorse the hard work that had gone into the care of it, which I imagine was a hilarious interaction), a swimming pool and hot tub, and best of all: A fire circle.

The events have been amazing, and warm, and the beds came with their own turn down service and televisions.

We appreciate you looking deeper into this loss of venue, which has been difficult for all of us.

But as Apollo tells us: Know Thyself.

We will continue to bring the sacred Mysteries to you, and we really hope to see you there.
