Dining

The Dining Hall is in the Historic Inn in the center of the Property. Truly the heart is where the hearth is, the Dining Hall is both Romantic, Viking Rustic and Elegant all at the same time. Delicious meals of a variety of cuisines are made and served by loving hands of hospitality. It's like eating in Mama's Kitchen. See example Menu below.

Meal Times

  • Regular mealtimes: 8:00 am breakfasts, 12:00 pm lunches, and 6:00 pm dinners.
  • A bell will ring 5 minutes before each meal to remind all guests to get ready for some great food.
  • A second bell will signal that the dining room is open.

Alternative Diets

  • We offer limited alternative diets including vegetarian, vegan, non-celiac gluten-free, dairy-free or a combination of any of these.
  • Our gluten-free items are prepared in a common kitchen. While we take steps to minimize the likelihood of gluten exposure, we cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely gluten-free. Customers with celiac or extreme gluten sensitivities should exercise judgment in deciding whether to consume these items or bring their own food.
  • Alternative diet cards will be personalized. These cards are to be presented to servers in the dining room in order to receive a substitute meal.
  • Guests with other dietary needs are encouraged to bring supplemental foods. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the dining room for guest use.
  • Due to severe allergies, there will be no fish or peanuts on the menu, regardless of what the example menu says.

Beverage Service

  • The Inn Lobby has coffee and tea available at all hours while guests are on the grounds.
  • There are two vending machines on the Inn porch facing the Pavilion: one with soda and another with snacks and sodas. Proceeds from this combined machine are donated to the Seabeck Food Pantry.
  • There's a chest freezer near the vending machines on the Inn porch, facing the Pavilion. We keep it stocked with bags of ice, complimentary for our guests.

Food Safety

  • Food safety is our top priority so that our guests do not get sick.
  • Taking food to your room after meals is not allowed.
  • All food, dishes, glasses and silverware must remain in the dining room. This policy is for the safety of our guests.
  • For health and safety reasons, guests and groups are strongly discouraged from bringing outside food to Seabeck.
  • If you do bring your own snacks, please keep them in closed containers when not using them. Seabeck is in the woods and the wildlife enjoys sharing.
