Workshop Presenter FAQ's

  • Is there a fee for workshops?
Everyone who attends the festival must be registered and pay registration fees.  This includes staff and volunteers, and workshop presenters.  There is no additional fee to host a workshop.

  • Are workshops paid?
This festival is a fundraiser for the ATC – which is a non-profit religious organization.  We do not offer payment to our workshop presenters.  Your workshops are considered a sacred volunteer service.  We are so grateful for your time, knowledge, and service!

  • What kind of Workshops are wanted?
We are open to a wide variety of workshops for modern paganism and witchcraft.  We are especially looking for workshops related to Greek Lore and Theology, Nature Conservation, Sustainability and Gardening, Eco Spirituality, Healing, and Divination.  There is limited space for workshops: Priority will be given to workshops that align with the spirit of Spring Mysteries Festival and the values of the ATC.

  • How long can my workshop be?
We suggest that your workshop is about 45 minutes long. You will have access to your workshop space for about an hour, and there will be other events or workshops using the space right before or after you.  A 45-minute workshop gives some buffer time at the beginning for people to come in and get settled, and time for a quick clean up at the end.

  • How many people can I expect to attend my workshop?
All the workshops are optional and festival attendees are given a choice as to which workshops, they will attend.  There will often be multiple workshops happening at the same time.  As such, we cannot guarantee a certain number of attendees for any particular workshop.  Once we know how many people have registered for the festival, we might be able to give a better estimate.  You can always set a limit if you have a hands-on project with a limited amount of supplies.

  • When will I present my workshop?
Workshops will be presented during the festival, at scheduled times when there are no other Main Ritual events taking place.  These will all take place on site in the SeaTac Convention center, there are no online workshops offered at this time.  Schedule will be determined later and is subject to change.  You will be informed of any schedule changes that may arise.

  • Why was my workshop denied?
Our workshop time slots will fill up quickly.  We cannot guarantee that we have room in the schedule for all workshops.  Priority will be given to workshops that align with the spirit of Spring Mysteries Festival and the values of the ATC.

O r p h i c    H y m n    t o    A t h e n a

Only-begotten, noble race of Jove,

Blessed and fierce, who joyest in caves to rove:

O, warlike Pallas, whose illustrious kind,

Ineffable and effable we find:

Magnanimous and famed, the rocky height,

And groves, and shady mountains thee delight:

In arms rejoicing, who with Furies dire

And wild, the souls of mortals dost inspire.

Gymnastic virgin of terrific mind,

Dire Gorgon's bane, unmarried, blessed, kind:

Mother of arts, impetuous; understood,

Rage to the wicked, wisdom to the good:

Female and male, the arts of war are thine,

Fanatic, much-formed dragoness, divine:

Over the Phlegrean giants, roused to ire,

Thy coursers driving, with destruction dire.

Sprung from the head of Jove, of splendid mien,

Purger of evils, all-victorious queen.

Hear me, O Goddess, when to thee I pray,

With supplicating voice both night and day,

And in my latest hour, give peace and health,

Propitious times, and necessary wealth,

And, ever present, be thy votaries aid,

O, much implored, art's parent, blue-eyed maid.
